decisions, decisions...

I was cleaning up my scrapping desk and came across this photo of Jake & Tanner….I love this picture, you can see how much Jake looks up to Tanner just by the expression on his face….but this picture is not the reason for this post.

I think I am the worst decorator…I need someone to come in & redecorate for me!!

I have 3 things that I want to hang in my scrap area/room and I am so bad at figuring out what to hang, what to move etc. I think I am afraid to hang anything on the wall because I don’t want a big hole in the wall if I decide I put it in the wrong place, so then I just don’t do anything with it. How do you guys figure it out??? I need someone else’s eye….(besides Mark- if I left it up to him, nothing would ever be on the wall or it would be hung up so high, I couldn’t see it!!!)

Sometimes, when I have nothing better to do... ;) I will browse Etsy for interesting, cool items....one day a few weeks ago I was looking at plates & pottery and I found this plate....

I don't know about you, but I could NEVER eat off of that...kind of freaked me out a little bit. I hate bugs, especially cockroaches...eeewwww...I guess beauty is in the eye of the beholder on this one for sure!

I am reading this book right now- it is pretty good...I wish the kids would stop interrupting me so I could finish it! :)

Am I crazy?

Sometimes I think so... After a very nice, relaxing Friday night at the Twisted Vine (we had some really good wines that night) we started our Saturday at the baseball field, first Jakes game and then Tanner's. Of course, Tanner's game was a nail biter for a while- they ended up losing. That is nothing new they are 1-14.

We told Jake he could have a sleepover, but the friend that was going to come over got sick, so he invited someone else- twin brothers, who can be, how should I say, a little over the top. Then I had told Riley she could have a friend over too, but somehow that turned into 2 friends and then Tanner asked for two friends to sleep over- luckily only one could. So, we had 8 children at our house on Saturday night. They were all good, not too noisy...but I still didn't sleep very well. The next day we made breakfast- 2 lbs of bacon, eggs and pancakes- those kids sure can pack the food away!

I would rather the kids be at our house...but at some point- I think I need to learn to say "No"! :)

We are going to the Twisted Vine tonight for some yummy appetizers & wine...cannot wait! :)
