Happy Halloween!!! :)

This is Tanner & a few of the Freshman football players that are in Bass Choir together. They had a concert last week. They were actually very good! :)

Yesterday was Riley's cheer competition. The coaches rented this "party bus" to take all the girls to competition...so fun.

One of their cheers have the saying "you scared?" in it, that's the reason for that saying on the window. Kinda sounds full of yourself if you didn't know that part of it- I think.

They won 2nd place, which means they go on to compete in Regionals in a coupleof weeks... :) The kids are sad that it isn't in Arizona again...they always have fun when we travel!

Ok- I have football on the brain....  

Our team banquet is coming up and we are having it at a location that allows you to bring in your own food.  I am having the dinner catered by Jalapenos, but I want to make all these cute things for dessert.  I asked if anyone wanted to be on the committee & help.  Of course, out of 32 families, I got a response from 2.  So, I am wondering if I can pull these desserts off by myself...?  Caroline & Cami, I wish you lived closer, because I would make you  guys come over & help!

Artichoke Bread (picture & recipe) from Vanilla Sugar Blog

I made this last night and holy cow that bread was delicious.  It was a meal for me.

I followed her recipe pretty much except I didn't have any sour cream so I used mascarpone.  Maybe it made it a little richer, not sure?  I should have read her changes at the bottom of the recipe because I would have left off the shredded cheddar cheese like she did.  I think it made it a little too cheesy.

I also did not dip it in anything- just ate it with my pasta!  Yum I want some right now.

Just finished this book, it was a good read-now I need a new one... any suggestions?
