Number 125th item on my list of things I want....pergola by our pool....

Here are a few things we have been up to..... Cheer Camp-This is Riley's bag packed for camp, with her clothes laid out to put on in the morning...what you cannot see if her list of things that she needed to do in the morning before she left...brush hair, brush teeth...'cause you know you might forget to do those things...:)

This boy has been waiting 2 years to put his own helmet and pads on so that he can play tackle football. He was so excited to get his own gear that he put it on as soon as we got home from equipment day. I just hope he gets to have some playing time...there are 32 boys on the team- too many to allow for long periods of play time...

Don't you just want to sit and have dinner on this deck? Me too. This is what I want our deck to look like , is that too much to ask? I know, add it to the list of things that I want done at our house....it will be #108 on the list. Oh well, wishfull thinking.

Help needed

I am having some friends over for dinner on Saturday...she has had us over many times and she is such a great cook, so I finally am reciprocating.

Any way- I am making this yummy baked pasta dish but I need to know what type of meat I should cook with it? My husband usually helps with ideas, but he is so busy at work the last thing he wants to do when he comes home is talk to me about food.

So any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! :)

This is a really good book....so good that I have a hard time putting it down! I just heard that it is going to be made into a movie! :) Can't wait to see who will be in it!

4th of July

Here is Mark & Mike in Hillbilly Horseshoe action...sadly they were eliminated the first round...too bad there isn't a picture of me & my partner- WINNING!!! :) But of course how can the family photographer take a picture of herself playing & winning???

Hillbilly Horseshoes

also known as Ladder golf....have you ever played? Me neither, until the 4th. We went out to our friends house for a 4th of July bbq/swim party. They always throw great parties- (Cami & Caroline picked up the great party gene from their Mom)- anyway, we had a hillbilly horseshoes tournament. My partner Chris and I won $30.00 each! :)

We had so much fun - thanks for having us over!

Jake & Riley have been at my mom's since Monday...and Tanner has been able to do whatever he wants for the last 3 days- he is one happy kid. Too bad he isn't like that when his brother & sister are home...I miss them!
