I am having some friends over for dinner on Saturday...she has had us over many times and she is such a great cook, so I finally am reciprocating.
Any way- I am making this yummy baked pasta dish but I need to know what type of meat I should cook with it? My husband usually helps with ideas, but he is so busy at work the last thing he wants to do when he comes home is talk to me about food.
So any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! :)

wish it was us that was coming...I've been doing tri tip alot lately and it is good - we put yellow mustard and rock salt on the outside - best done on charcoal and not a gas grill - OR what about those steaks we did at the gourmet dinner we had at your moms?
tyler florence does some good meat dishes...
I second the tri tip. Always a favorite at our house. Mmmm. Or rib eye steaks--always juicy and flavorful.
