Yellowstone Park
Here are a couple of shots from Yellowstone. We took a day and drove around the Park. And let me tell you-it takes more than a day to see everything. This is a geyser that went off as we were walking by it- so very cool. The picture does not do it justice. We were waiting for Old Faithful to erupt- which happens every 90 minutes or so....
This buffalo was VERY close-he was just walking down the side of the road- we leaned out and took a picture. I read in the paper that a 12 yr old boy & his family got out and approached a group of buffalo and the boy was thrown by one of the buffalo- had to go to the hospital I believe. They tell you to stay away, but people don't like to listen.
So here we are at the Lower Falls- (behind us). We had to hike 538 steps down steep, and I mean steep steps to get there. My legs were shaking by the time we crawled, I mean climbed back up. I am so out of shape.
These shots all came from my little digital camera. I have a ton more on my film camera.

Remember this? I have only wanted this piece from PB for about 2 years...well, looky what I got...but guess what? It isn't from the PB. Larry made it for me. It looks exactly like the one above...so cool. When we got home from our trip it was in the house. I didn't even notice it, but Mark said it smells like varnish in here and then he & Tanner found it. Larry made it for my birthday! Thanks Larry!
Home...
Well, we made it back safe & sound…let me tell you it was a looonnnng trip driving back. We ended up getting a hotel room at the border of WY & Utah around 1:30 am on Monday night, we got up & left by 9:00 am on Tuesday and got home to OC at 10:00 pm…. When you are trailering horses you do need to stop and let them out to stretch their legs & get some water. I actually drove (so nerve wracking for me) for a few hours twice. I don’t like to pull the horse trailer- it makes me nervous.
It was so nice to be able to take a shower last night and let the water run…the trailer we used for showers did not have a very big water tank and after 4 showers we were out of water. Luckily, we were able to fill up water jugs & pour into the trailer…I swear I think my hair still smells like a campfire though…
We had many adventures and I took a ton of pictures, which I will share later. It is good to be back home!!! :)

For our 14th anniversary we went here glen ivy.
It was fun and very relaxing. We got massages, jacuzzied (spelling?) and went in the mud pool (kind of grossed me out a little because I could feel the chunks of mud under my feet- I am weird like that).
Anyway, it was a good day. We then had dinner at Aldo's Italian Restaurant at the Orange Circle...

Hope everyone had a great 4th. We had a great time at our friend's house- hanging out in the pool as the kids swam, played on the trampoline and ran around as kids always do. We had homemade ice cream that we all had to take a turn, cranking the handle, because as Cami said, "no turny, no treaty". My kids thought that was very funny.
Thanks Caroline for making my new favorite drink...so yummy & refreshing...champagne & italian soda (blood orange, sounds gross huh?) but soooooooo good!
Thanks Cami & Chris for a fun day- we all enjoyed it!

Paso Robles...
So we had a great trip....My mom & Larry surprised us with a birthday lunch at Tolo Cellars...It is just a two person show there and they picked up the food and set this beautiful table out on the side of the tasting room. It was so nice & fun.
I have to say- she is NOT drinking wine...it is root beer. They had no other cups so she poured her root beer into this glass...The kids took the camera and took pictures while we tasted at Tolo after lunch....these were some of the silly pictures we got...and we got alot of them!! :)
Thanks Mom & Larry for the great day! :)
